OEM is not always the best choice, if they only give you 4 or 5 rod holders, when you might have room for 6 or 8. Plenty of discussion here:

Thank you for the reply. decided to have one made with 6 rod holders. My old grady only had 4 rod holders, so this will be a nice addition.

WTB rocket launcher bar for hardtop
My 228 came without the hardtop rod holders and before I have some made I thought I would check to see if someone is tripping over one in their garage. The ones I'm talking about mount on the aft edge of the factory hardtop. Thanks John
