Last weekend we fished the Washington Tuna Classic in Westport Washington. New crew with very little Albacore experience, first time in this boat fishing Tuna. 37 teams and we finished 11th overall. Not bad for the Newbs!!! Prefished on Friday and wish we had those fish for the Tournament, we would have won it. Isn't that how it goes. Caught half the fish on the troll with Tuna Clones and X-Raps, the other half on live bait. Should have taken more care to fish the live bait stops longer! Lost a lot of fish and started trolling too quickly to let those bait stops be more productive.
