I need to put bottom paint and barrier coat on a 1995 17.5 Spirit. Can anyone give me a measure from the bottom edge up for a top mark?

Leave it sit in the water for a day (tanks full, normal load) to get a light scum line that you can trace +1 inch. Then clean & prep. Every boat sits a little bit differently.

What he said especially the full tank!If you don't get a scum line, you can mark the water line with a grease pencil or if dry, some masking tape in a few spots
