Water spots on windshield

Any tips for removing hard water spots on a glass windshield? Just want to see if anyone has any tips before I start buying stuff that doesn’t work.

Vinegar and water.

I bought some water spot remover on Amazon. 3D eraser gel. Easy to use and it worked wonders.

CLR if the vinegar does not work.

0000 steel wool and rubbing compound...don't press hard just light pressure and repetition
