What do you use to clean and wax the gelcoat? And the floor boards?

Lucky dude I would of installed your stuff for some beer and bbq.

Blood, I'll give you beer and BBQ any time, no install needed. And I didn't mind paying those guys, part of what I was paying for was their knowledge about what to install. Vince at Johnson Hicks told me point blank that if you don't work in the electronics industry everything changes so fast, they are adding stuff all the time, some of the new stuff is good, some of it is a step backwards, how would me, MrIdiot, ever pick out the right stuff? I wouldn't. So it was worth some dough to get good stuff and I am happy with my electronics, I can see bottom at 38mph in some chop. Couldn't do that on the last boat.

We gotta figure out this COVID crap but once we do, there are going to be some epic Grady White get togethers. I already have a plan to get all the 226/228s in formation under the Golden Gate with a drone getting footage. Alan wants to come with his slightly bigger than a 228, I'm sure others will want in. There are way more Gradys in the bay area than I thought, I've "met" via this forum and THT, a bunch of people. I was in the launch area in Santa Cruz and I hear "Hey! Luckydude!" and it is Shannon who has a Marlin 300 and lives near me. First time in person someone has called me luckydude, I liked it.

We're gonna have some fun.

Spark,
that does look real good . is that using the 3m products? what did you buff with, ive been using the wool bonnet, but seen that red rag head thing (micrfiber??) bonnet never tried it yet..

not sure if anyone else had luck with the red micro fiber head but I took it off immediately as it was leaving red fabrics everywhere. I have since washed it so not sure if that fixed the problem

I have not looked into tournaments this year. Last year I did the Make a Wish, I came up blank in that tourney. It was a fun time though. This year I am only fishing with my son, so we will see if we sign up.

That's a 1988 boat? Holy smokes does she look great! Nice job!!
Yes sir. Thank you. It is an 88 24 offshore. I’m running her offshore tomorrow about 70 miles to target American red snapper. I do what I can to keep it In excellent condition.

I just tried ceramic coating (one each) from Mothers and McGuires, Spray on and buff off. Beads extremely well and easier than most waxes. I'm trying both brands and found Mothers to be easier. Not expensive and I'll be comparing the longevity to a good PTFE liquid wax. (amazon.com/Mothers-01024-Ceramic-Spray-Coating) Too old, I don't want to do the 330 any more often than required!
