The only issue I have with water on the stern deck is when slow trolling and standing at the stern to bring in the monster. I have solved that with expandable plugs in the scuppers when fishing, removed on cruising, prawning etc. At dock the scuppers are above the water line so no issues with big rain etc, all drains well. Yes the stern is heavy with 2 batteries, T8 kicker and the F200i4. but all does well in the "smaller" 208.
