What length shaft is needed for a Kicker Motor on 228 Grady

I would like to get a Kicker Motor but, What length shaft should I get for the Kicker Motor on a 228 Grady with a Swim Platform.

I dont know the length. I would like to know how one could mount a kicker with a full width swim platform in place? :?

A basic long shaft will work with a single sided swim platform. I just removed a Model year 2000 9.9Hp Evinrude 4-Stroke from by 228 - didn't use it. It's sitting in my garage, incl bracket and controls. PM me if you're interested.

Cannot mount on swim platform due to vibration and weight. To answer your question.....20".
