We have a 86 gradywhite 24 offshore which we take out off the coast of Delaware. WE carry a personal epirb with us in the ditch bag. Thinking of getting one that attaches to the boat and automaticly goes off if something were to happen. I started to look at them and i see they have a few different ones. I'm not sure which one to get.

seems like the ACR have been around longer, they now have a 10 yr span on the battery and you can change it yourself now too. I was going to get the ACR 2830 but opted to just go with a PLB instead. i am not out greater than 30 miles that much so...
