Which is better- discharge overboard OR periodic pump out?

Just purchased a '02 Voyager equipped with manual pump-out marine head. Looking for advice to either routinely discharge waste ( IAW regulations) following each off-shore trip OR store waste in holding tank and pump-out periodically. No macerator. I've heard the small diameter plumbing (1 1/2") does not drain well w/ or w/o a macerator. I trailer this boat locally to/fm St Augustine, FL ramps....

Always best to use the pump out service if convenient. Better for our oceans and waterways...

Throw a cup of bleach in the tank every time you empty it, keep things nice and melted in there. :mrgreen:

Oh, don't throw toilet paper in the toilet either, not even the marine thin one.
