Going to head out to the coast this weekend.... see if we can get on some Snapper. Wish some of you lived closed. @Lsquared should be living down here in a few weeks and will be using my boat till he gets his down here ;) Cannot wait. We will hit up some tuna this October for sure!

Hope to have some good videos and pictures when we get in.

You deserve it after all you've battled with on that boat.

You promised to read my rather lengthy tutorial on twin engine docking before you ventured back out. If you don't read it, I'm coming to the ramp while your at sea and letting the air out of your trailer tires.

Seriously; I hope you have a great weekend and good weather!

It's at the top of Tips Modifications & Electronics now.

"Tips On How A Grady Handles."

Again, enjoy your weekend; I don't know where you are in TX, but depending on how close to the point of Hanna's landfall you launch, you might find some debris in the water from storm surge and abnormally hi tides.

I’m just leaving lake jacossee in South Carolina today and heading to key west for mini lobster season. I’m sure the fresh water lake will be good for flushing out All the keys salt from the engine and trailer.

the weather will be much better. we had the Hanna embryo hang out with Gusty winds to 40 knots rain anywhere from 60% to 80% from a week ago Saturday to when we departed 2 days ago. it was a great trip to get away from the stress of work during COVID but the last half our trip was weather frustrating. the Keys weather this week hot, mostly sunny and no wind or rain. I am jelly of your trip weather. have fun,be safe.

Watching that. If all we do is fish the inter coastal, no big deal. If it holds out, looking at 3ft waves with 4s intervals till after 7am then 2ft waves at 5sec intervals most the rest of the day with 10mph winds or less. We will see. I have some buddy boats heading out as well that may be around where we fish. May stick in the IC till after 7 or 8 then head out....give us time to catch bait too.

I’ll be headed out on the North Atlantic chasing haddock this weekend. Seas forecast is 2’ @ 10 secs. Good enough for my mini-Grady.

I'm heading out tomorrow a few miles to fish coho (silver salmon). If I get a couple I'll finish up trying for an inshore halibut.

Coho BBQ on a cedar plank, no better meal.

Lobsters are large and abundant here in key west. Now it is time to plan my escape before the hurricane comes my way. Lol.
