Why are the time stamps incorrect

The forum lists the base time zone as GMT+5. That's fine for Karachi but is a bit confusing for the rest of us.

At the bottom of your profile settings page is the ability to adjust the time stamps to reflect your specific time zone. For example- the east coast adjustment is GMT-5.

The software doesn't recognize daylight savings time...as a result one must change their time zones manually 2x a year.

Good question. I've noticed that on my boat electronics. By contrast, my car GPS always has the right time...regardless of where I am in the country.
