I'm new to this site, and am enjoying reading all of the useful information here - thanks guys!!

Anyway, I own an '06 Marlin that is equipped with a fresh water windshield washer that is activated by turning a small nob/valve located on the starboard side of the helm area. The washer stopped working and I suspect that there is a clog somewhere in the line or in the valve. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and, if so, how you fixed it.

many thanks!

On my Marlin, I would, at times, have problems with the washer due to salt blocking the exit holes at the blades themselves. Make sure they are clear, a needle or pin will do the trick.

Hope yours is as easy as my problem.

I looked at mine after reading your post end and it looks like the the protrusion that the hose slides onto broke off. I tries the washer and it still works find and sprays the window. The end of the hose was all clogged with salt
Has anyone ever replaced the piece that the hose cips onto? Not suere I need it since it still spays the window?

Also, it's good to use that thing a LOT in order to keep it clean and flushed. I crank mine up when I'm washing the boat, etc.....
