Looking for any recommendations on a full canvas cover for my Grady 248 voyager. Has a hard top an a single 250.

Any recommendations would be great.

Canvas is not typically used for the winter, what region are you from?

Fisher covers makes excellent canvas covers (yes, "canvas") for winter use... even in northern climates. I had one years ago on a different boat and know of many who have had them.

I had a Fisher canvas cover many years ago, before I built a boat barn. He has all the patterns for most Grady's, so probably can make one for you without doing much measuring, other than for after-market add-ons like radar dome, spotlight, etc.
I think he also makes them with a light weight material; maybe Sunbrella, or similar. Give him a call.

I have a Fisher cover for my 228 and love it. Just ask about the different materials as I believe the greenish color is a little lighter. Throwing the cover on top of the hardtop is a tough one man job.

I have an off the shelf carver cover that will be going on its 5th winter season in the NE. It was a fraction of the cost of a fisher and has held up well. On my previous Grady I used a similar cover and got 9 seasons out of it and included it with the boat when I sold it. Although not a perfect custom fit, it is close enough to fit snug. I got it from PM Winter boat covers, who also sells fisher covers.

I bought the 1200 Denier model from Budge covers for last winter and it’s awesome, the model is B-1221-X8-R, it was under $400 Canadian delivered to my door on Vancouver Island through Amazon

I have a Carver for my 228, came with the boat. I keep mine stored indoors the majority of the time. When it's at home, I cover it sometimes.

Just started making one this week. I plan to use the boat all winter, and I’m only going to the bottom of the rub rail, with snaps.

I have a Fisher, been through 4 Annapolis winters so far and holding up great. Bought it on this site when someone opted to store their boat indoors and no longer needed it, got a sweet deal on an otherwise brand new cover. It's more than paid for itself vs. wrapping, but it's a real bear to get over the hardtop of a 282 solo, which I've done once and will never ever do again.

I’ll be doing the same fairly soon on our 282. Putting on my brand new Fisher cover, by me self.
