Wiper Insert for 2001 GW 208 Adventure

Hi All,

I'll be heading into NAPA later today to try and get an insert for the starboard wiper blade for my 2001 GW 208 Adventure. I just need the rubber as the stainless holder and clips are all intact and in good shape. I've seen some posts that bringing the insert to NAPA has worked but I was hoping that someone out here might have already found the part #. The arm is made by ANCO and the wiper blade is 13".

Any help would be appreciated. If I end up having success at NAPA I will post the part number accordingly.

NAPA 60**70. ** is the length. I think it's a 16 and not a 13.

The entire assembly is only about $10. Save your energy trying to get the refill out and just replace the entire assembly.

I agree with just replacing entire assembly. Mly $7 napa wiper works great and isn't rusting either.

Thanks for the reply guys... I found the ANCO replacement which includes the rails and rubber insert. You were right it's not a 13" it's actually a 14". See details below:

Success! This insert worked perfectly. The components are almost identical to the original with the exception of the back of the rubber insert. It's much narrower than the original but the way it's designed it doesn't matter. The metal rails hold it the same way.

The package doesn't specify whether the rails and clips are stainless steel. I'm using the new ones and I'll see what happens to them. If they start to rust I'll just go back to the old ones. I'm guessing it is stainless though. Now that I think about it I should try the magnet test....

ANCO part# 53-14 $8 delivered to my door. I actually saw some others that were even cheaper. I'm pretty sure any auto parts store would order it for you as well. This is actually a truck wiper and that is why you won't find it in a retail auto parts store. It's more of a commercial item.
