I know this is my second post tonight but my port side wiper motor is shot again and I'm wondering if there are any better options other than replacing with the same type motor. This is the second time in 12 years I've had to replace the port side wiper motor. Somehow water gets in the shaft and you know the rest. Also I read in one of the past posts that NAPA carries the wipers. Does anyone have the part and is it stainless steel? Thanks and I'm sorry for the second post tonight.

Here's a pic of the wiper and motor I need to replace.

i just replaced the wiper blade on my 265 it is a easy part to get at an auto parts store # 52-18 bring in the old blade and they will give you the right length wiper. as for the motor i took it out cleaned it up and put new connectors on i also put a bit of sealant around the base of the shaft no leaking water hope it helps you out.

Thanks but I think we screwed the wiper and bent the motor trying to get the wiper off so we could remove the motor. Now I need both I guess. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

I contacted Grady last year for a POC for the motors too, they gave me Diesel Equipment Inc as the seller. I was able to get the motor arm, and all plastic tubing components to replace my wiper on a 265. They needed exact measurements of the blade and arm. Here is the motor part number I got and contact info for them.

Diesel Equipment Inc
Neenie Johnson
njohnson@dieselequipment.com
Part No. for motor: WWF12C16-220 ($102.40, he gave me a little better price too on the combined package deal)
I dont have the exact info on the other components (arm, wiper blade and plastic freshwater hose fittings) but I ordered extra b/c they were cheap (in both $ and strength), and sure enough while installing the plastic fittings I cracked a barb, glad i had a back up.

Hope this helps!!

I pick up my replacement wiper blades from Car Quest. Part number is 75-200.
Picked up my replacement wiper motor from West Marine. Exact fit and was nearly exact design as original from Grady.
Nice to know I can finally just get one off the shelf when/if needed. Finding the wiper blades was most difficult and trying to get them from WM is very costly and not eas to retro fit.
Picked up a replacement wiper arm from Walker/NAPA auto parts due to one of the springs was corroded and failed. They happened to have an exact replacement SS model for an airport contract they had that must use them on some of the equipment they use in the airports. Not an automotive or truck part apparently. I think it was only about $25. for the wiper arm vs about $60 to get the WM version.
I use Air Condition pipe insulation that has the slit and slide these onto the wiper blades to protect them from the sun and weather. They are holding up well after 1 year!
