I'm interested in a 22' Seafarer, 2001 and newer. West Coast prefered but will consider the right boat at the right price. Let me know!

Mine might get listed in September, but is in Canada, West coast.

Yeah, I saw that one. What does your boat look like?

1997 seafarer, 2005 Yamaha 225 four stroke(420 hours), susuki kicker. same as the boat in the ad, just not quite as clean. I haven't got around to getting it detailed.

Lots of scams out there for Grady White's and especially on the east coast. There's a 228 Seafarer in California that's been listed for quite some time, months if I recall correctly, in the high $40k's. It looked a bit rough in the pictures and a member even went to go look at the boat and passed on it. Whatever you do, look at the boat in person to make sure it's in the condition advertised before purchasing. Or even better yet, pay a surveyor to come look at the boat with you, or if you live out of state. I was about ready to pull the trigger on a GW 228 back in New York, had the surveyor go out and inspect it and it was in much worse condition than advertised. I ended up passing on the boat entirely and it was $600 well spent for the survey as opposed to a $30k can of worms.

Yep, I bought my 228 last year on the east coast and I'm on the west coast. I interviewed four surveyors on the phone, hired one for $450 and bought the boat on his word. I'm very pleased with it.
