Looking for a 265 express. Preferably 03+ that’s clean and not cracked up. Thanks in advance
 
How about a few of the basics like your location, are you willing to travel, your budget?
 
I’m in Maryland and don’t mind driving a few hours. Seems like most of them are going between 40-60k depending on updates. I’m in that range.
 
So deboragreen09 is a scammer. They tried to set me up with a deal and now their posts are deleted and they tried to get me to pay them without even seeing the boat.
 
When you say 'cracked up' are you speaking of the boat/hull or the cabin headliner? Lot of solid hulls but keeping that cabin headliner intact for any boat that endures cold winters is challenging.
 
I’m not worried about the interior. I’m referencing the transom, deck, and gunwale. I see a lot of the cockpits cracking in corners and all around rod holders and where the metal work mounts to the deck. I know most aren’t structural but I just dont like it. I’ve been on 6 so far and 2 of them were super clean and the rest looked like a hard boiled egg that was dropped. It all depends on how good the gel coat sprayer was on that day.
 
I think a big part of it is going to be location. Lots of boats in the Florida and Southeastern area are going to be exposed to crazy amounts of sun and moisture, of which you're going to have a ton of spider cracks and so forth. Which is generally why I avoid looking at boats in the Florida area, not to mention damage from hurricanes, flooding and so forth. Typically I'll look on the east coast and have bought all 3 of my boats in Maryland, surprisingly. Did you see the 2002 with the newer repower for $80k in NJ?
 
I have a beautiful '03 265 that has been repowered (~275hrs), transom re-glassed last yr, new electronics...ready to put in the water and fish. Been thinking about moving up. I'd be in the $80k range though.
