Why are the pictures from South Carolina if you are in Philly? Why do you mention only paypal and zelle payments? If it is not a scam, where could i go to see the boat?

The boat Kept on a lift or it's trailer on the Ashley River in Charleston, SC, if you really want to check it for confirmation that's not my problem at all...

Total scam... "Owner" claims to be in Pittsburgh, PA and the boat is supposedly in Charleston, SC... which is almost 700 miles apart. The price is also about half of what they should be selling for, broken English, using PayPal/Zelle or other third party apps for payment, etc. "Owner" has been reported to the moderators.

Thanks for reporting and backing up my claim. It blows my mind that people have nothing better to do than try and scam someone buying a boat.

Doing a reverse Google image search is a glorious thing lol. And sadly, I imagine they must be successful with their scams at least some of the time in order to continue doing it. I'm betting they do like what was done here where they ask for oh idk a few hundred dollars on up to a few thousand dollars down to hold the boat for them. And I'd be willing to bet that people fall for it on occasion. The broken English right off the bat of "how well are you doing today?" as well as him signing up two days ago were immediate red flags. As was the price, the registration numbers being in a different state and a number of other things already mentioned above. For yourself and anyone else on here, go to Google, hit the camera icon next to the search bar, to where you can either upload the picture or copy the link for the picture. Of which, it will show you where that picture has been used on other websites before. It's a pretty quick and easy way of determining where they got the photos from, if it's likely a scam or not, etc. I also usually check BT, Boats.com, Yacht World and Craigslist as well just to make sure there isn't an ad for the boat on those sites. Either way, good luck with your search. Any particular year range and budget that you're looking for?

Thanks for the insight. I prefer at least a 2006 and the budget is about $40k.
