I'm restoring the cowlings for my F350. They'd been baked in the Florida sun.

Nice, I just finished mine. Or I should say my shop finished mine. I used an off white to match the deck color for the decals this time with silvershodow instead of the factory Yamaha logos. Had a sign guy cut them out for me.

Progress. Partially painted now. Still needs more wet sanding and then clearcoat
 
yes. coming along very nicely.
 
Ironic that I just saw this post.....my 8 year old Yamaha 350s are having the same problem..I also live in St Pete Florida. I am not as handy as the rest of you. Do you have any idea what it might costs to have them professionally refinished??...Thanks
 
I would think any auto body shop could handle this easily! Also check with fiberglass repair guys! Had a quote few years back for my F250’s at about $300 each in Maryland.
