Excuse me for my not knowing, but what is SIM Yamaha? Is that a boat business?Check with SIM Yamaha.
Weird indeed! When there is a water sensor, I don't know if the signal runs directly to the gauge or if it goes to the ECU which in turn sends a signal to the gauge.
The only thing that I would try is checking all the harness connectors for corrosion or the like as well as the connectors on the ECU , again for possible corrosion, water intrusion etc.
Thanks that makes since. If I don't have sensor wires, indeed the connection pins ma still be in a connector harness.Weird indeed! When there is a water sensor, I don't know if the signal runs directly to the gauge or if it goes to the ECU which in turn sends a signal to the gauge.
