Anyone know anything about this motor, how long it’s been around, is it a blown out 350, brand new design, reliability issues?

Interwebs can tell you a lot.
From what I know it is a 5.6 liter directed injected engine that is entirely different from the 350. It is really heavy, not very efficient, but likely a rock solid design. I have yet to read of an issue with one. Been out 1-2 years.

I hadn’t gotten that far (to the Internet) and I wanted to cut to the chase and hear what boat owners here thought.

I’ve been a beta tester with some motorcycles and wanted to avoid the same with $55g’s worth of pistons.
Beta testing is no fun. I’m sure early 350 users can attest to that.

I do appreciate your reply though, and will do some searching online and get back here with some findings.

I have a set on my 330. Fantastic motor. They are huge, but have tones of torque and while they may not be hyper efficient, the efficiency doesn’t change when the boat is loaded, so it probably balances out in the end.
