GreatGrady Captain
CCs are good boats but built for a different purpose then BW, GW, Pursuit, Scout. I think of them as a pickup truck while the others are more of a crossover SUV. I know first hand of CCs which have had their share of issues including water ingestion, hull delamination, etc. All boats have issues - except those owned by THT members.
For pure trolling I believe CC and Albemarle are great choices for inboard style boats. I prefer the finish to albies but the CC28 is a great value if you don't require a lot of amenities.
As to rocking, a close friend rode on one this year and compared to his GW experiences. As expected he said it took the seas great but trolling was an adventure and required one hand constantly holding on. Tradeoffs.
