Grady 208 drain path for bulkheads behind fish boxes

great advise! I had/have an issue with water making it's way into the glove box and making it's way in between the cabin bulkhead, I saw water in the front right access panel by the drivers feet, I know the area you reference is in same area (water from front access plate area would likely...

    Adventure cabin drain

The boat is on level ground on a trailer with the trailer wheel fully extended so it has max tilt. When I pulled the plug all the water ran out (wasnt much I'm there as it stays pretty dry in the bilge). But when I added the antifreeze to the cabin drain, it never made it into the well (no pink...

    Adventure cabin drain

Thank you! The boat is pretty level (leaning back a little to help drain) but prob not enough. I will try adjusting angle and see if that helps, if not will try with the telescopic camera from bilge forward and see what I see. Even if antifreeze hate to leave any liquid sitting in there. Thanks...

    Adventure cabin drain

Can anyone confirm if the drain in the cabin drain into the bilge? First year with this boat, when winterizing put about a half a gallon of antifreeze but never seemed to come out the bilge/drain. I always keep that drain dry but was afraid ifwateer got in then it would freeze.

    '93 Adventure hardtop

I do not know much about the hardtops, although I know a company in NJ (Atlantic Towers) that sells arches, maybe try them. If looking to get rid of your bimini once you get the hard top please let me know.

    Towing Adventure 208

I tow my adventure with a 2012 jeep liberty, rated at 5k and do fine. I bought an bluetooth OBCD reader and downloaded an app called torque and it gives me my transmission temp to monitor conditions (along with other things like engine temp, tire pressure). I have only been concerned one time...

    Adventure 208 Canvas Question

Thanks, I have a 1996 and have already called them and they do not have the pattern (seems maybe for 1997 or newer they may but that had a different windshield which is rounded out and I am not sure about the fit). Thanks for the suggestion.

    Putting a Yamaha 150HP on a Adventure 208?

Boat is in the water so may be tough but will see if I have numbers on the prop (came with the boat).

    Putting a Yamaha 150HP on a Adventure 208?

Also, how did the boat do getting up on plane? If had a hard time could have a partially slipped hub (especially if prop indctates strike marks), but doubt this is the issue if still hitting 39mph. Double check and make sure your not reading in knots (39 knots equals 44 mph which I am guessing...

    Putting a Yamaha 150HP on a Adventure 208?

Without repeating what's already been said about 4 stroke vs 2 stroke, I have a 1996 208, with a 150hp 2 stroke yamaha saltwater series II. My top end with half a tank of gas and just me on lake like conditions was 39.0 mph. Add people and gear and I am still up to 37/38 mph Hole shot is good on...

    Adventure 208 Canvas Question

From what I was told, no. But not positive. I bought an enclosure (factory 1995) for my 1996. The guy I bought it from had a 1997 and said it wouldn't fit his which is why he sold (he bought and thought it would fit) Windshields are somewhat different shape. I am trying to determine same thing...

    Adventure 208 factory bimini width.

Got it - think mine is a vista too (has/had zippers on all sides) but from wrong boat (previous owner took from another boat). Looks like I will need to replace with a vista- thanks for clarifying and whenever a few weeks is fine. Taking my time with this to make sure I end up with best result.

Wow - awesome fishing boat, very nice rig!!! I am not sure what the difference between bimini or vista top is, but what you have looks exactly like what I need. If possible to get the 3 measurements in the picture below, plus the length of the main rear support beam from the bolt that holds it...

    Adventure 208 factory bimini width.

Hard to see from the picture, but looks like you have the same enclosure I have - is your enclosure factory? If so, I would love measurements. Also, did you purchase the vista top to replace the factory bimini? I have attached a picture which shows my boat with the factory enclosure and the...

Does anyone have measurements for a 1996 or older Grady adventure? With the model changes unsure whether the 2001 is the same bimini as the 1996.

    Adventure 208 factory bimini width.

Thos is very helpful, thank you so much. The way the measure height is from the hole for the screw to the top of the bimini - if anyway of getting that it is the last thing I need. Since the pole is 54 inches, the height should be around 48" If anyone has measurements for 1996 and newer please...
