i can turn 6000rpm's with both tanks full and a full tank of water. yes my bottom is painted. it feels like she runs better with a full load.

i have 4 blade Powertech props. i forget the size and pitch, but i can turn 6000rps and 39mph with my F225's. It feels like i have two 1000hp motors the way they pull me out of the hole.

new powerhead and new 4 blade props, you will think youve got a brand new boat.

a new pair of f300's will run you about $50k with rigging. i would just put a new powerhead on your f225 for $7k and call it a day.

i guess im going to run each motor on seperate tanks too. these tanks are large enough to run each engine on seperate tanks without the fear of running out of fuel. i dont want to have to worry about fuel sitting in the aux tank too long. thanks for responding to my post.

does anyone run one motor on the main tank and the other motor on the aux tank ? i was thinking to do this to keep my fuel from sitting in the aux tank too long.

i did buy a 2003 330 express. i found one that wasnt barely used. it only has 100hrs. lack of use can be good and bad too. we will see how she turns out.

ive been trying for months to buy a 330 and it seems that everyone is burried in their boats...here are the most recent sales for 01-03 330 express's. all of the currently listed boats are priced 30-50% higher than the sold boats...either people dont want to sell them or they just owe too much...

i think this is the perfect boat for me...i love my Seafarer, but it is too small and i have a 450 Sea Ray that i dont use because its too much hassle to take out. the 330 Grady seems like the perfect solution. thank you for the responses and i will update on the forum when i purchase it.

im looking to buy a 2004 330 Express and i have not sea trialed one yet, but i have noticed that the 2008 has a higher windshield. was there a problem with the older windshield being too low ? are you looking through eisenglass while on plane ? can you see the tachs and fuel management gages...

what was the fuel cunsumption with the 225's ?

thank you for your response. i did rule out the 280 due to condition and i put a contract on a 2000 300 marlin with ox66's. the fuel consumtion is better with the 4 strokes,but it seems like it is only about 20% better from what ive read.

thats great to hear.. hopefully i will enjoy the Marlin as much as i enjoy my Seafarer. I need a larger boat because my wife doesnt like using the Seafarer's bathroom AKA a 5 gallon bucket with toilet seat mounted on it...and i want a boat to get me to 50 miles offshore safely. my only concern...
