    Looking for info

I can't give much advice to the boat models in question, though I do remember awhile back a member who said he'd owned like 10 Grady's and his favorite was by far the 232 Gulfstream. So, I wouldn't necessarily count that boat out before you take a ride on one as I've heard they're incredibly...

    Repower

Not exactly an apples to apples comparison but it should get you in the ballpark, though your boat is obviously a bit lighter and you should get better numbers than this one. Also, you could always call or email Grady White themselves and see if they have the performance data sheet for your...

Grady White 226 Seafarer for sale - $30k

Not mine, just saw it online. Says it's a 1997 but is obviously a 1998 and newer model. Appears to be a decent looking boat with newer power on it and a hardtop. https://www.boats.com/power-boats/1997-grady-white-seafarer-22-9063466/

    2015 / 2021 Grady White 275 Freedom for Sale

It looks like it can be seen in picture #10 of the OP's first post...

    265 X water intrusion

An easy way to determine if it's coming from the deck would be to fill up the deck with oh idk maybe 5-10 gallons of water and then plug the scuppers so that the water can't get drained out that way. Come back out later on in the day or the next morning to see how much of it is still there or if...

    265 X water intrusion

My question would be that does it not happen if other people aren't onboard? If it only happens when others are onboard then that would make me lean toward it being potentially a scupper issue, or as SkunkBoat mentioned above, maybe the bolts or something else is sitting lower on the waterline...

    272 Sailfish re power

I’ve never seen anything in the brochures about a maximum weight for the outboards. I think quite literally the biggest issue with the Suzuki 225 would be its weight at 606 lbs. Considering the current motors that the OP has are around 420 lbs a piece, an extra almost 200 lbs per motor or 400...

    CHART UPGRADE ???

I never said to buy direct from Garmin haha... just that I have a Garmin unit with Navionics on it and that I recommended the Navionics brand. Which is also available to those that run a Raymarine unit, as the OP mentioned in his first post and something that should've been extremely obvious and...

    CHART UPGRADE ???

    A. Navionics is now "A Garmin Brand", as is so evidenced by those exact words said underneath the Navionics title on the Navionics website. Also, "Raymarine’s Axiom and Element-series displays are compatible with Navionics electronic charts." I wasn't suggesting that the OP go to the Garmin...

    272 Sailfish re power

    Not sure why one couldn't have a 200 hp v6 or even a v8. Both Yamaha and Mercury make a 200 hp v6, and Mercury even makes a 200 hp v8. https://embed.widencdn.net/pdf/plus/mercurymarine/nh4poy4muz/5344_V-6_V-8_Compare-Chart-200hp.pdf?u=orhjei

    CHART UPGRADE ???

Garmin Navionics Vision for me in my particular area, which is around the Puget Sound. I really like the Relief Shading, Side Scan as well as the FishEye 3D options that come with the "Vision" version of their charts.

    272 Sailfish re power

I can't answer the physical questions that you mentioned above in terms of the hull, engine mounting/spacing and so forth, though I will say that your old 200 Yamaha 2 strokes weighed in the 420 lb range per outboard, depending on which model you have/had. Comparatively, the lightest 4 stroke...

    Price Guidance on a 1995 208 w/ f150 and MK trolling motor

Ah yes... the joy of having a mute/ignore button. Back to the topic at hand... I honestly can't see how the OP's setup would get him over $20k, not to mention close to $30k, given the rest of the competition out there. But I'm hoping for his sake that I'm wrong and either way, good luck to the...

1998 Seafarer with twin 2008 Suzuki four stroke 115.

It appears to be different for different years, and obviously different models of boats. The 1986 brochure though says twins on a 226 Seafarer had 20" shafts, but the late 1980's models like a 1989 had 25" shafts. Page 15 for the 1986 brochure and page 17 for the 1989 brochure...

    Price Guidance on a 1995 208 w/ f150 and MK trolling motor

I guess out here, the fishing is quite a bit different and even kicker motors are rarely seen up front on the bow. If someone does have a kicker motor then they'll typically get a bracket on the stern of the boat and get an outboard kicker motor. If they want, they can get an autopilot or...

    Price Guidance on a 1995 208 w/ f150 and MK trolling motor

This isn't going to be what you want to hear, but I don't think you're going to get above $15k for your boat, maybe not even much over $10k. I guess for me, I always compare what I paid for my boat to what others are listing theirs for. I bought my boat for $26.5k back in October of 2021 in...

1998 Seafarer with twin 2008 Suzuki four stroke 115.

As stated, I definitely don't think it's a 1995 as I can't find a 228 Seafarer after 1991 that had an option for twin motors on it. Which would correlate with the fact that between 1991 and 1992 Grady White switched from the SeaV1 hull to the SeaV2 hull. In fact, I don't even see where twins...

Engine paint...Grady white vs Yamaha white

I think the GW cream color is much better looking and quite a bit more subtle. It looks like it fits much more as opposed to the Yamaha white, which imo contrasts too much with the rest of the boat and is all that I see when I look at it.

Negotiating new 2023 Freedom 235-need help

Also for reference... I'd honestly buy one that's a year or two old and save yourself $40k-$60k, or more. But that's just me... https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2022-grady-white-235-freedom-9040154/ https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2021-grady-white-freedom-235-9061501/

    Not enough power?

Until essentially just now, you hadn't ever mentioned the safety aspect of it, and also not every wants nor needs twin motors, of which I would fall into that category. Twin motors are great for redundancy but even still, you could potentially have a fuel issue that could affect both motors...
