Went from a 35 silverton to the 282. You definitely will like the fuel burn much better. She handles the ocean really well. Had mine 3 years finally having to do the midsection on the engines. Still have not slept on it, just not the same as the larger sedans. Great boat though, very happy...

I wanted the Marlin, but I had to consider trailering so I went with the 282. Absolutely love the boat. The 10,7 beam would have caused to much effort in the way of permits .

service life, they just didnt last very long.

i didnt have good luck with interstate. Deka has been really good so far.

the St augustine area is beautiful to ride around, the inlet may get a little tough a times but he area itself is awesome. spent a lot of time there.

I have 06 225 engines with 500 hrs and they are no where near that...yes the 250,s have the same issue

I have 2006 motors with 520 hours and one is just showing signs of needing to be done. Should be about 4k to 5k for both to be done. Negotiate it into the price. Surprised they lasted to 1000 hours without be done.

Silverton used z clips. Real easy on/off after I redid the bolsters on that boat

what made you pick that transducer? SS is typically used for metal hulls while bronze s for fiberglass. Not sure of the specs or for that unit. Having mine installed next week

Looks like they charged 2600 for parking it on their lot for the four days they were "working" on it
