I’m 5’8” and I have to use a half-round pillow below my knees to be able to lay flat on my back in the mid-berth. With my knees raised some, not to the extreme, I can be quite comfortable on our custom mattress. Not on the durable, but overly firm mattress Grady provides.

TD: I used SEM Vinyl Coat Flexible Coating M25073 Off-White. It is mentioned in post no. 11. It isn't my discovery, but I have been happy with it. Rob
