greet two days of fishing.. easy limits of rockfish both days.. plus my deckhand nailed a monster Ling on a jig bar.Grady ran super.. saw atleast 3 other Gradys out there..
I will be a Westside in bodega for a night. Plan on launching Sunday morning around 730am heading up to ft.ross area. Also going out Monday for a half day . I think campsite 10. Look for the Grady. ;)
you will fee the vibration. Ive seen on low tides at westside in bodega launch ramps, people not noticing how low the water is and drop the motor too low and start up and wreck their props on the concrete pads.
If you happen to break/bend a prop blade, ( hit something) you will not want to run the motor, the vibration of being out of balance could result in damage to the motor. If you have a spare you can do a swap and be good to go.
The barrel is your friend. Save a lot of time Using the barrel. You don’t need to run it in gear long just make sure it shifts in forward and reverse and returns to neutral. I don’t use muffs anymore on my 225. It’s either water trough or flush bag .
Looks like mold, try some bleach water or clr, baking soda too mixed with water ?Then scrubbed with a brush? I’ve decent success as well with barkeepers friend.. those are basic house hold cleaners that work .
