This was my install from a year or so ago on my '04 228. I took wrxhoon's pics and location and moved mine as far back on the pulpit as I could go. I also purchased the rode and chain from Lewmar to go with the windlass. Lewmar Pro-Fish 700.

You'll have to wait a month or so. Boat is in South Carolina right now. Going down the end of January to get it. Heater is in the cuddy. The milk crate is a plastic one with side cut out so it doesn't melt. Heater sits in it, nothing fancy.

This right here is enough for me to give it a very critical eye, if not a total pass. A year and a half is a very long time to have it listed and not sell, especially this past year or so with low inventory. Be very careful as pictures can hide issues.

A&J won't make pieces for enclosure unless they are a few years old. Can't remember specific range. Give Lee a call, she can tell you.

Excellent write up. The 226/228 platform is hard to beat in its class of boat. Easy to trailer, solo launch and load, does a lot of things very well for its size. I trailer my 228 anywhere and everywhere I want to go and fish different places. Works pretty well for sandbar hopping too.

I've got $436 in my swim platform and cabin step and floor from SeaDek. I'll be doing the two box covers also, so a little more investment. ItalianAngler's 282 turned out fantastic. Looking forward to get my few pieces installed this spring.

Hard to tell, but the storm gray is darker than these pics show. This fish ruler is StormGray-Black SeaDek that I have on my boat.

Ordered through my dealer. The old plastic ones just fell apart when I removed them. Pulled out from the bottom along with the old dry rotted hose.

I'll go with crud on your original spade connectors and you cleaned them off when you switched them around. Chasing electrical gremlin's can be a pain.

Thanks. It came a a cost. I replaced both my main and auxiliary tanks with OEM from Florida Marine Tanks due to leaks. While doing that, also replaced all my fuel lines.

Look at the last sentence in what you have circled. If gauge is color coded, maintain that coding. These gauges are used in multiple configuration I'm sure. Just saying industry standard is pink to sender, black to ground. Can't answer why yours started working unless loose wire somewhere. Your...
