Live well won't work, 2002 GW Tournament 192

I just looked at a photo of the 192 dash and the breakers are mounted to the right of each rocker switch .l

Live well won't work, 2002 GW Tournament 192

The breaker that is mentioned is the accessory feed breaker and may be a smallish box with a red reset button on the front. If it is tripped or bad, none of your accessories would work, like horn, lights, VHF etc and I think you would have noticed that. So the main breaker is probably not the...

    Do not buy Lowrance

That is where Lowrance puts the tag, at the helm end. It won't last if placed on the transom end. I am not clear on whether you are saying you have 2 transducers or a dual frequency model. I mentioned earlier that there are two models of dual frequency, 50/200 or 83/200. One frequency for deeper...

Minimum HP Grady White Tournament 223?

That's interesting guideline that I have not heard before but I wouldn't bet my life on it.

Minimum HP Grady White Tournament 223?

A lot based on the searches I did yesterday. An early 2000s 200 HPDI was asking about $3,000 or so. I think a new zuke would run about $18,000 .

Live well won't work, 2002 GW Tournament 192

There should be a switch at the helm for livewell. Look for it and turn it on. You should be able o hear the pump running. If you don't hear it, you have to find it and diagnose. The input water for the livewell is through a thru-hull pickup with a seacock in the bilge. It will be aft probably...

    Rub rail end caps

You probably won't easily if at all find the original model but there are many offerings that could work out. Take a look at Great Lakes Skipper to get ideas. You probably don't have to get caps with the wrap around flange, but rather just an end cap assuming that the corner under the original...

    Exterior Drain Flaps

So all is OK. Note that the flappers do dry out and harden over time and should be checked as part of the typical annual maintenance. Also note that some of the Grady scuppers use somewhat uncommon diameter flaps. The kits you find from TH Marine for example, may look correct but may not fit...

    Replacing Fuel Senders 2007 Marlin

If you are going to replace the senders, note that if your tanks are full or kind of full, gas will pour out into the tank coffin when you unscrew the sender. If you don't know how full the tanks are, loosen the screws a little at a time, all of them, and pry the sender flange up. If gas is...

    Exterior Drain Flaps

Are those through hulls or scupper drains? If thru hulls, there are no flappers. I see that Skunk responded already. I had type my reply but for some reason didn't hit send:)

New owner of a 1992 254 Sailfish. I have a lot of questions about it.

If it had shore power option, there would be an AC panel in addition to the DC panel. The diagrams that you looked at are somewhat generic and may show optional features. The drawings are not specific to your hull. In addition, boats are often pre-wired at the factory for options that may or may...

    Do not buy Lowrance

Based on my experiences, I would bet that the mount he is referring to is the upper plastic mounting tab that is part of the transducer itself. The mount is metal and doesn't break often. Newer versions of the transducer have a slightly different bolt arrangement and kick up mechanism. It is...

    Backing into slip + fenders

What is your typical tidal swing? How is the line to the forward port piling tied off. What is the length of the line from that pole to the cleat? As I see it, all the lines except that port fwd line are tied off to a point that moves up and down with the tide. The port fwd line on the other...

    Do not buy Lowrance

I think your head unit is fairly old. What color is the connector at the hear unit end? It may be grey with a blue lock nut. If you have a skimmer style transduce I think you probably have an HST WSU model. There are two versions of that unit, a 50/2000 HZ and a 83/200 hz If you go to the setup...

    Advice on selling my GW

In actuality, we don't completely disagree. Fresh paint includes brand new bottom paint that look's great until yo see all the chipouts and gouges that were painted over. Serious mold that has deeply penetrated the upholstery can be 'bleached' out and look decent for a while. Hull gouges and...

    Advice on selling my GW

Personally, when I see a well detailed older boat for sale, it makes me nervous. That's because the detailing can cover up/hide things that they don't want you to see. A clean boat with the expected wear and tear is a much better indicator of condition and how it was treated.

Minimum HP Grady White Tournament 223?

I suspect that the boat will be underpowered with the 150 and if the motor is a 4 stroke 150, the boat will be even worse
