Temperature (cold) does affect battery life and I bet unless heated, concrete has a lower temp than wood. 80*F is the ideal temp to maintain a battery at.

Sorry to sidetrack thread It looks like the DC31DT is the only Deka battery I see that meets the 100, 110AH requirement without putting batteries in parallel.
