Those carb idle jets are set by bottoming out the setscrew and backing it off 1 1/2 turn. Then turn in just a very very small smidge. That is the magic setting for the Yamaha carbs on all those 2 strokes. I’ve done literally over a thousand carb rebuilds in my time.

I had the same problem. I replaced my fixture with a new led one and replaced the connections at the switch. LED has less corrosion issues and is much brighter. I was tired of changing corroded bulbs.

The best fuel line on the market is oem Omc fuel hose. It’s not cheap but worth every penny. About 8 bucks a foot for 5/16 and 3/8. I buy it by the 25 ft roll to supply my customers.

If the pump jammed up it may be able to be cleaned and fixed. To free it up, hook it up to a battery on the bench n switch the pos and neg back n forth. Don’t run it more than a few seconds once it is free.

It sometimes will fill all the way if the ball is pumped a lot. Then it goes to 2/3 after running. I would first drain the filter in the boat and see what you got. If there is a Red water ring in the filter under the hood, make sure it is not floating. The red ring sinks in gas and floats in water.

Should stay around 35 while running on plane also. It is a 1/4 schrader valve to check pressure . Same as on your car tire. Fuel gage at the auto parts store will have the adapter for this valve in the package.
