Seeing a little moisture on the bunk under the hatch... Before I think about anything dramatic, I thought I would replace the hatch seal... Does anyone know the correct gasket material for the Bomar hatch for a 2001 265 Express?

I have about decided that I don't want to mess with the ones that are already there - they are old and the bar spanning the opening is broken on 2 out of 4, but I just don't feel like trying to fool with them and the drain tubes... Has anyone identified a good stainless screen or grate that one...

Thanks for the suggestions... Actually, I am adding a couple temp gauges to the existing panel right now... They fit, but barely, and I really didn't do a bang-up job on locating the holes... It'll work for now, but when I have some time, I think I'll ab a new one with the carbon fiber...

I am thinking about replacing my old, faded gauge panel (aluminum with carbon fiber look) with something new... Has anyone already had one fabricated do I can just order a copy from the shop?

It has worked very well... I ditched the portable cooler to free up the cockpit, and I usually just put 40 lbs of ice in the aft portion while storing fenders forward of the divider... If I am not bringing Ice, I can use the whole space for storage, using the fridge to keep drinks cold...

Mine are old, and the white bar inside one just broke off (and the others are not far behind)... Are these hard to replace? Accessible with the rear panel removed? I think I looked at this some time ago, and I remember it was daunting, or else I would have changed them then... Anyone done...

This thing: Is this fitting used on either side, or do I cut them off? Engine side, yes - boat side? I am guessing also yes, but just wanted to know for sure... Easier for me to ask here than drive an hour to figure it out myself... :) If I remember right, my lines are clamped onto the bulb...

I want to replace the primer bulb and fuel line assemblies on my 265 express... Can someone confirm how these connect? I think it's just a hose couple on the engine, but what does it connect to on the boat side? The fuel filter bracket? Does it use the fitting that comes with these...

My 265 was 12 years old when I bought it, so been there... First and foremost, get a high quality survey done... Make sure they are thorough in inspecting thru hulls and transom for water intrusion... Check the tanks for leaks, condition of hoses, yada... Obviously, check the engine...

They are 1.25" diameter... I found some on Amazon from Marine City that are 4" long - most others were 3"... I needed the longer ones because the two holes I am redoing are about 3.25" deep... Looked like T-H Marine has an alternative, as does Gem... These are plastic tubes with connectors...

After worrying about this, I had a knowledgeable inspector come by and take a look... After going over it with a moisture meter and some light tapping, he confirmed that the hull is "bone dry" - much to my great relief...
