I pump out holding tank then shut off water intake and add pink anti freeze and flush until the pink flows back into bowl. This is with electric flush.

Sounds like the water tank is empty. The pumps pressure shut off valve/switch will not work if there is not water. Other than that the only thing I can suggest is to check the filter by pump it might be clogged with debris.
