I would call Grady and ask them if they are in the habit of giving out personal info from customers.

    Battery Issue

While you have the batteries disconnected looking for poor connections and don't find an obvious problem, it would be a good time to check the voltage in each battery and write it down, keeping track of which is which if they are removed from the boat. Charge each battery separately with a...

    Armrest adhesive recommendation

Well, I was surprised, the Shoe Goo would not even smear onto the foam of the armrest. It just rolled up in a ball behind the noxxle of the tube. I used a wooden paddle to try to smear it on and again it just rolled in a ball behind the stick. Really strange. That was obviously not going to work...

    Armrest adhesive recommendation

Well, I still haven't got around to glueing that armrest. My sons jeep is having issues so I have been helping him. I have decided I am going to try "Shoe Goo". I have used it to repair running shoes and hip waders in the past with good results . I will let you know how it works out.

    Armrest adhesive recommendation

That's correct. The original adhesive is stuck solidly to the hard plastic. It let go of the spongy rubber cover without pulling any pieces out. I am going to re-glue it today.

Thanks fellas. I will look through my adhesives on hand and see if they say they are for "rubber/vinyl".

    Armrest adhesive recommendation

Does anyone know what adhesive was used by Grady for this job? I am not sure what the armrest material is and don't want to use something that could melt it.

I could feel the tension when reading about the fog setting in. Been there and it is difficult to keep oriented. Good move marking that dock as you passed.

    Overboard discharge

If you are unfamiliar with the discharge system or unfamiliar with that particular boat, be sure to check that the holding tank vent is clear before pumping out. Most of the modern boats use a polypropylene material for their tanks and if the vent is plugged by insects or kinked hose the pump...

Exciting trip. 200 miles all upstream is quite a haul between fuel stops.

    Seafarer in Georgian Bays worst!

Hutchy, While I admire your enthusiasm for boating, there will come a time when you will look back on that decision to take a 22 ft boat out in those conditions and you will think "what was I thinking". Good luck with that fine boat, have fun and stay safe.

    Almond Silicone by ASI

Yes, it does. I just checked their website. You can order individual tubes for about 6 bucks. On amazon they only sell multiples and the prices are crazy.
