    Leaking hull 1998 Voyager 248

Fill the bilge up with a small bit of water on the trailer to find the leaks. and disconnect the pumps. You are already getting water in so it should not cause any damage.

    Bilge Pump size?

On my 1989 Seafarer, I am replacing my cabin bilge with the original 1000 RULE (due to size) and in the back I am upgrading to a Rule 1500 as well as a backup Rule 1500 (with independent float switch and manual turn on) You may need to step up to the next size up RULE's for your boat.

    transom rot with engine bracket

From what I have read, Transom rot is most common on the open transom design. But Several Closed transom boats have rot as well, mostly around the scuppers and bracket bolts. Also any boat that has unsealed holes will from transponders etc has a doomed transom.. I am not an expert, but...

Would anyone be interested in having starboard work done?

Re: Would anyone be interested in having starboard work done A bit off topic, but what is the best color king Starboard to match the Grady Hull, and what would a pair of doors (And trim) for a 89 seafarer cost?

Trying to decide what path to take. Older Grady or New CC

Re: Trying to decide what path to take. Older Grady or New C Much appreciated. The boat I was quoting was a lower quality boat, and I know the resale would be crap. But I am worried about buying a $30-40K Grady that's 15 years old and will need a re power as soon as I get it..
