I’ve been told (only tried it once) to spray some CLR into the hose before attaching earmuffs to the engine lower unit in order to flush the engine with fresh water and CLR periodically.

This stuff hardens very hard. Kind of yellowish when it dries. Might want to buy a few extra mixing tubes if you don’t use the whole cartridge at once. It’s thickened epoxy though - it doesn’t really seep/flow/penetrate so you need to inject if you get what I mean. Gitrot or cpes products are...
