    Pics of Grady without stripes?

Just take it off! I think the boat looks better without it, AND besides getting the new stripes on perfectly will be a MAJOR pain in the azz. Yes, the original gel coat that was under the stripes is a light tan as compared to the weathered white on the rest of the hull. If you look REAL...

    Pics of Grady without stripes?

Very clean looking boat, nice! Stripe-less gives it good looks that stand out from the crowd, not your everyday run of the mill Grady. Stripe-less also makes the craft look like it has a deeper hull, I like it.

    Pics of Grady without stripes?

Wow, I LIKE IT! Especially the full side view a few posts down in the thread. I think I'll splash my boat stripe-less this year, can always put them on later if I want.

    Pics of Grady without stripes?

Intead of replacing the worn and faded decals, I'm thinking of just permenently removing the blue stripe decals on the sides of the hull... anyone already do this and have any pics to share?

Twin Engine Handling (or lack thereof)

practice, practice, practice Two tips that may help... 1) looking at your dual control throttle binnacle, notice how the tops of the handles point inwards towards each other? Well, when backing in, or spinning the boat the tops of the throttle handles will always "point" to the direction...

Gas and Winterize Question ? Full Tank are Empty ????

Ethanol does not store as well as the old MTBE gas used to. IMHO, empty or almost empty is better than a full tank of bad gas in the spring. I now run my tanks down a low as possible (have been adding Star Tron every time gas was added all season), and add a strong dose of Stabil to each...

    Winter Storage Tips

don't waste time and effort in the fall I think it is a waste of time and effort to wax and cover in the Fall. Every fall, I remove my bolsters and store them in the cabin, out of the weather. They come off easily, only held in place with wing nuts. I also remove all the teak trim from...

    Evinrude E-Tec any opions ?

10 Reasons why I LOVE my Etecs: 1 -Logged over 300 hours so far and NO problems. After 2 and 1/2 years of use, just did the 3 year or 300 hour maintenence on them, which includes changing the lower unit oil, internal filters and plugs. That was the first time the engine cowlings HAD to come...
