How many here are on Facebook?

Facebook is a social networking opportunity. I primarily use it to connect to my parents, show pics of the grandkids, my 5 other brothers and sisters and friends in the Orlando area. I check it a couple times of week unless something interesting comes across the droid. The forum works well...

    Tuna Regs about to change?????

Ok, gotta question. When they say curved forked length, is this measuring the inside V part of the caudal fin at the base where the tail connects to the spine on the body or is it measuring the tip of the caudal fin? I dont fish for blue fin, but I want to be sure if we stumble upon one...

How many here are on Facebook?

I enjoy checking up on the forum throughout the week, but I wonder how many here are on FB and perhaps more importantly would want to connect with members here via facebook?

    Newbie to forum

Mine came with a 125 gallon tank, no mention of auxillery anywhere. My primary use is cruising with fishing when I can offshore. Although we will be Chaleston this year a lot more. We will also be in fla for a few weeks too. I wonder if in 08 they just installed big tanks? Have a great time on...

    Newbie to forum

Congrats on the boat. I have a 228 as well. Just curious, where did you install the auxillary fuel tank and how big is it? I am also curious about your desire to add a second livewell to the boat as well? Enjoy her :D and slay some fish.....

How far back do I run my trolling lines?

sfc2113, none taken  But, the habitat for the common redneck, known by its latin name, Redneckidae redneckus ranges from the arctic to the equator. It is a common species usually found living in more open landscapes or 'rural areas" associated with agriculture practices. The redneck can be...

    who's looking out for boaters?

The report said fuel tax increase, mentioned nothing of road tax versus off road...the rub is Graham is proposing to use the revenue to subsidized wind turbine energy production. On Monday I am calling is office and voicing my concern as an American after all he is a US Senator from SC, while...

    who's looking out for boaters?

I guess I am feeling some pain and in fear due to our sluggish economy about fuel costs and people willing to travel. Selfishly, I don't want pay any more for fuel to fish.

    who's looking out for boaters?

I just saw a piece on Lindsay Graham wanting to increase gas taxes 15 cents a gallon to fund building wind turbines and fight global warming. Never mind we are in a huge recession and our income went down 3% since Obama took office. So I am wondering, who is looking out for us? I am a...

Anchoring technique to prevent loosing an anchor

Hey Guys: I have left $500 worth of anchors on the bottom of the reef line north of Molasses Reef in the Florida Keys in the past few years while night fishing for Yellow tail snapper. I am planning for the upcoming trip this summer and night fishing for yellowtail. What is the technique...

    Tournament 192 vs 205

I would agree, the 192 is a great 19 foot boat. We loved ours.

    Tournament 192 vs 205

My only real criticism of the 192 was the leg room in the bow seating area. The boat handeled well, was a great tow boat for toys, we created many memories on her. The 205 gives more room upfront which is nice to have. This argument would sway me over the head.

    My son...not really Grady related

He is a trooper. Kyle is in really good spirits. Sunday he and the Admiral are going to Greenville and Monday the cast comes off! :D. He will be Greenville at Shriners for a week in intensive physical therapy. I will let y'all know next week. Since we need to move him every few hours, I gave...

    33 Grady White

This has been quite informative as I was thinking the express 33 with f350s was the only way to go and it is good to hear the 33s with f225s is still a great ride. I lookforward to someday , hopefully sooner than latter sea trialing a 33.

    Tournament 192 vs 205

I had a 192 and loved the boat, I wanted a bigger ride so I sold her. the 205 is roomier in the bow which to me is a difference enough to choose the 205. Then again, I bouhgt my 192 used and they discontinued it for the 205 only to bring it back. I guess that foot costs alot  or enough for...

New Boat - what will it take for you to buy one?

I agree with Sel and Cape Guy: I really want to get an Express 33, new does not seem to be a reality unless I get some killer deal on a prior model year close out or something. There are a few potential economic taxes that could negatively effect my dream. If the VAT tax enters our lives...
