    Have same problem on steep ramps, gradual ramps not a problem. My strap is new it just stretches a little, I just hit the brakes after boat is out of water.

    Sorry about your troubles Russ, it will get better the more you use the boat by fixing things as they come up. Replaced almost everything on my boat, now haven’t had time to use it. Good luck.

    Cup holder covers???

    My boat has livewell in stern, hookup to the 1/2” overflow hose that drain in motor well. Also make anchor locker, where it drains overboard. I also hate water in the bilge.

    Don’t know year of your boat, but I changed my cup holders to stainless connected hoses to drain overboard.

    If your boat is rated for 450 HP max you stay there for insurance reasons, Yamaha 4.2L offshore has 300 HP power head, rated at 225 HP means same low end less top end. Have the 225 HP 4.2L on my Marlin no problems.
