    restoration pics.

looking good. The 3" cut is what I used when I did a transom on my V20. I had to do from inside because the V20 had multiple angles in the transom, not flat like Grady. After trying many different tools, the clear winner for digging out the remaining wood from the 3" was a small electric chain...

    Charging a battery

I took the stereo off 5 years ago and threw it away because my brother kept leaving it on and leaving the boat without turning off the switches. I don't have to listen to Tom Petty and Bon Jovi every hour... I setup the batteries so that the house is isolated from the start batteries and...

    Windless Issues

How much line did you get back ? Did it separate from the chain or did it chew the entire rode? Maybe you just had poorly made chain splices and it has nothing to do with the windlass?

    Powerwinch 300 Capstan

Here’s a bad drawing of the connections and routings Remember it’s a capstan. It only moves in one direction. So it’s a single direction relay and a single on off momentary switch.

    2001 Express 265 Repairs

You have a 2001. That drawing is 2005. They changed at some point. My 2000 has orange and black 10gauge running up starbord side. It had no pre-wired 6 gauge to the bow.

    EVA Decking on the cheap

If I had sharp deep diamond nonskid I wouldn’t do it. That could be difficult to clean out of grooves. With worn nonskid I’m not so worried. A scraper and acetone

    Charging a battery

Unfortunately it seems dealers rarely install Aux cables even though damn near every Grady has Yamaha that offer them. Look for a third wire (red) to the battery 2 coming from motor. You can get one from Yamaha or you can get an ACR from Blue Seas. Look for "mini Add a Battery kit". with...

    Windless wiring help 265 Express

The original Grady took power from the DC bus terminals over to a breaker under the keys . they used 10 gauge. I used that pre wired 10awg to feed a solenoid.

    Windless wiring help 265 Express

I said that it runs starboard side to under helm left of glove box. I ran the new 6 gauge on port side in tube with AC wires. You should use yellow instead of black for negative to avoid confusion with blackAC hot.

If they installed an Aux Charging cable then the motor would always charge both batteries.

hmmm. Interesting. I thought they cut off part of the deck to get the tank out. I guess grady did that.

    Lee Jr Wishbone Outrigger kits

you just flex them to get them in the bracket. the tension keeps them from rattling. The only adjustment would be moving the bracket on the hardtop. Just make sure you get the right diameter pole base. I don't have spreader wires. Unless you troll heavy lures off riggers, you don't need...
