So I got the SD card in the Garmin, registered on Active captain, downloaded something....there is a lot of back & forth between Wifi to internet on phone to get stuff in Active captain, then Wifi to Garmin to download from Active captain...
So I see the new stuff on my phone in active captian...
I think that wire on the fuse is misplaced. It has 12V on it. The other end is probably connected to a hot pin(middle two) on a switch.
Somehow it is getting power not feeding power.
Normally, Things fed by the fuse panel are not switched on the dash switch panel. They are a stand alone switch...
Yep the three green wires are OEM Grady. If your gauges and bilge pumps act up its because you dropped that bundle out of site.
Sounds like my suspicion is right about getting power from that wire on the fuse.
Somehow that wire is already being fed from the Pos terminal block. Disconnect it...
If your anchoring in 5 ft of water or sandbar-ing it. go with the stainless. Its all about the bling... Whats the point of having 12 speakers if your anchor aint shiny.
Go heavy because you won't be using much scope
If you get the I/O style you can keep all bolts up high. It would be a bitch to get to the inside of lower bolt on a 265.
You'll have 2 handles to pull yourself up with. Theres no law that says you have to use an Outboard style. They only put the inward leg down because many outboard transoms...
Use the Fuel management function. Your CL7 has that. I am sure you have some new MFDs on that boat too.
Tell it what you put in. Reset your trip. It tells you how much you burned and what you have left in gallons. Mine is accurate to 5 gallons over +200 burned.
You can set your MFD to display...
Are you sure its not the connector before you buy a new one? When I had the Yammies I had a problem with the connector on one of those.
Also, If you have twins, swap sides and see if the problem moves.
You can also compare ohm readings between them
Don't have one on the 265 but...had one on my last boat. I used an "inboard/Outbard" type even though it was an outboard. That way the bolts were all above waterline.
Measure twice and think... There are different widths. You probably can't go over 18" wide
99.99% NO
They are 14 1/4 dia. not going to cut it. Even if they were 15 1/4, the 17 pitch isn't nearly enough.
Tilewave and I are running 4x 15.25 X 22
You didn't mention what other electronics you have. Do you want to connect to them thru NMEA 2k? Can your mfd display AIS?
AIS will display symbols on your chartplotter for commercial ships position direction and speed and give crossing Alerts. Its worthwhile to have in the fog or in the dark...
depends on your model. My 265 has 6 awg. Some of the smaller or older models used 10 gauge.
The red button had small terminals with screws. you need to match size of terminal with new breaker that you buy (1/4 or 5/16 or 3/8 or Metric)
