I pull my '85 Seafarer 227 with 350 I/O with a 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with V6 & tow package. It's about at the limit of its towing capacity. I can feel the strain sometimes. I only go about 5-10 miles. Trailer has brakes that helps. I get about 18-20 mph city driving w/o the load.

I got the tank thru amarket.com. Its a big clearing house for lots of marine supplies. Click on tanks & you should have a choice of stock tanks (which mine was) or custom made (which i'm sure will be more). The stock belly tank was the exact measurements of my tank. Good Luck.

Tank was 1/8 aluminum built by RDS, one of the top tank builders. Came with all fittings, including sender. Fully CG compliant. 2 baffles. Will fully inspect it when putting it in this spring, but don't anticipate any problems. 8)

I have a 2011 Tacoma 4dr ext. bed with V6 automatic & tow package. I tow a 1985 Seafarer 227 with it & don't have a problem on the ramp. I can feel the weight when towing, don't tailgate!! Has a V-8 I/O, so some weight (I can't recall it offhand). Works well.
