Canyon 336 with twin 300 performance

Thanks so much for the details. So you went from a 15 3/4 x 15 three blade to a Powertech OSF4 15 1/4 x 15? That is super interesting. My local Grady White dealer tells me that the 15 1/2 x 17 three blade should be optimal.
Converted to knots, you are getting between 21.50 knots at 3500 to 30.5 knots at 4600 and your sweet spot is 4200 at which you are going 26 knots at 27gph. The previous three blades were not allowing you to plane at 3500 (which is also bad for me as I am a Canyon fisherman and need to be able to run at night at a safe speed). What is your top end RPM with the four blades, please? Scott

yup

I know it's apples and oranges, but FWIW, a marina friend has a Pursuit 325 OS with twin F300s and he is very happy with the performance.
The pursuit is about the same weight but 9 inches narrower. Makes a difference in getting up on a plane; not much difference once you are up and running though.

Yes, correct. 4-blade max rpm is 5600 loaded with reasonable trim, so within yamaha recommendations. 3-blade yamaha max was 6k. I just double checked the work order to confirm 3-blades were indeed 15 pitch (6CE-45976-20-00, 6CF-45976-20-00).

Tip of Hudson is 115 statute miles for me, so i was pumped by efficiency gains increasing my range (I have a 351 gallon tank on the 2011). Feel free to pm me if you want to chat further, but I feel like the 4-blade allows me to run a "safer", slower planing speed at night.
