I've pulled a tube behind the 225. Clearly plenty of wake for that, especially horsing around doing figure-8's trying to get the tow-ee airborne.
I've skied behind a 192 and 205, and I guess the wake is just something to play on. Certainly not a ski boat trying not to make wake. with a yammy 225 on my tournament 225, it's certainly not overpowered for such use.
with the 192 and 205, transom-mounted outboards, turning around was noticibly quicker than the 225 -- hardly a surprise, but in ski/tube duty, you do notice it. It feels big on a lake. need to watch out for paddle-boarders... guessing they don't like it so much.
