I saw you did that last year. It's a great trip. Fishing isn't alway cooperative but the overall "experience" is awesome. Too bad we don't overlap travel times. Been doing a Islamorada Winter break for 20 years now! One day it will stop. Enjoy it while you can.

Yep, that would be cool. SmokyMtnGrady and I coordinated trips. He was in Key Largo, we were Marathon. Had a great time. We lucked out and had some fairly calm weather during our trip,,, think the wind kicked up after we left. Going down a month later this time. Hopefully it will have calmed down more by then.

Hardtop bolted back on. White ribbed 3/8" weatherstrip over tower aluminum. No caulk for now. All bolt holes over drilled and white nylon flange washers installed top and bottom. This will insulate the stainless from the aluminum similar to the way riggers are assembled.

The aluminum enclosure track was painted and being reused. Approximately 70 rivets! Ordered all aluminum rivets and sprayed them today with AwlCraft paint to match tower. Give them some heat and a couple of days to cure before installing.

GemLux rigger bases installed. This is what started the make-over. Busted up hardtop and junk rigger bases.

Yep. I planed to bring them out another inch or two but I screwed up somewhere. Other than the enclosure on the side, which won't be up when using the riggers, there is enough room to comfortably maneuver with out knuckle busting.

Hull wet sanded to fix a few runs and bring finish up. Came up nicely. New stainless thru-hull fittings installed. Carolina stripe bottom paint job. Need to install registration numbers. Not happy with what I got from BoatUS. Seem too wide. Sort it out this week. At this point the hull is done.

Laying out a new front enclosure panel today. Makrolon .040 with white Sunbrella or Stamoid frame. Working inside the boat this week. Rod holders back in, thru hulls connected, refrigerator re-installed. Get the rug shampooer out and go over the interior. Enclosure back up and finish wiring the hardtop stuff.

Boat back together. Ready for Key's trip mid-January. Next year projects:
New enclosure.
Topside and cockpit re-paint. New non-skid.
New rub rail.
Fuel tanks and hoses.
Lots of small projects I'll work on while in Florida.
