Chances are you will have to use a different latch and just figure out how to mount it so it will do the job. That one you showed may work, since you can grind down the tongue of the lever or build it up so it fits tight in the existing wall bracket. For that matter it may be easier to adjust the new wall piece for offset to get the proper squeeze on the window. Yes that’s a good idea I ordered it so will posts pics when I install itOne other thought. With a heat gun, you could warm the tongue and bend it till it has the correct offset.
This looks like it is it thank youAnd/or this site looks to have the spare knobs available, dependent upon which model you've got. I'd give them a call though if your current solution isn't working for ya.
