I believe bottom paint comes in white, so you don't have the contrasting colors.

If the marina allows it, you could invest in a Hull liner

bottom paint is a must or you will likely do damage to the hull with the scrapping needed to remove the barnacles and sanding to remove the husks left behind. My last boat was a 23 mako and was on a mooring from may-oct for the last 25 years

Thank you all for your ongoing input, Kietha, probably won't go with the hull liner but a good idea. Yes I like the idea of a white bottom paint, and just may go that route. Do not have an issue with barnacle in this cold water marina, but no doubt there sill be a lawn to cut on the underside.
