Not all GW dealers 30% sounds good until you call 3 different dealers and get 3 different list prices for the same boat with comparable stuff. Same boat 3 different net prices at 30% off. My closest dealer even told me he wasn't participating with any % discount.

I think he was aking too much even if it was 2004. Lots of deals, take your time, the 2010's are coming and every boat becomes a year older.

I posted on the for sale forum that my friend just made quite a good deal on a new GW28 and that I was dealing on a new 30 from the same Grady dealer. A poster suggested I take a look at some other sale sites for used Gradys. I was amazed at how many GW30's are for sale, other grady models...

I have been looking for a 28, 29 or 30 foot. There are some crazy deals, real deals not low balls. Problem is that the owners who want out are often in a loss equity position and cannot come up with the cash to clear the title. Think NADA book value and you are on the money with lots of sellers.

nada A good friend who sells lots of boats (owns the company) tells me that prices are pretty close to NADA, especially if financing is needed. Also adds that most late model boat owners are without equity and buried in their finance package, hence the high asking price and the reluctance...
