ive never felt like my 330 is underpowered with F250s. she cruises comfortably at 29-30mph burning 1mpg.

I have the same setup with 4 blade props. I always seem to get 1mpg at all rpm ranges.

my boat is a 2003, maybe they changed the desing in later years ? it does work fine at the dock or running in flat seas..she seems to suck air and that causes the unit to shut down.

i own a 330 Express and i cant use my air condition while running in any type of choppy seas. She doesnt pull enough water into the system and it turns my air cond off. Has anyone installed a forward facing intake grate to pull more water into the system or are there any other solutions for this...

i own an 03 330 and she was far from underpowered with 225's. i recently repowered her with 250's and the performance numbers are the same. she planes out easily and cruises at 27-30mph and thats with 350gal fuel, crew and gear.

i just replaced mine bacause it was 8yrs old and only had 14 hours on it. i dont really use the new one, but i do run it so it doesnt have any problems like the old one...

i have a 330 with 225's . it depends on load and sea conditions, but i get anywhere from 1.1 to 1.4 .the boat has plenty of power..dont buy into all of the guys that say that it is underpowered.

i have the same boat with powertech 4 blade props and i dont have any cavitation offshore. just spend a $1400 on a new set of props instead of $40k on motors.

the 250s make the extra 25hp at the very top of the torque curve. that means that you will only feel the extra hp at wide open throttle. how often do you run your boat at wide open throttle ?? the 225's are also more fuel efficient.
